LMAO this has been my favourite entry so far! The non-exhaustive list is just.. chef's kiss. And what to say about the main character guy?! The levels of arrogance and self-importance are off the charts!

Yep let’s call some things that musicians do… mildly outlandish :)

Tardiness… I could never understand it. Shout out to you for making a 10 minute walk 20 minutes! I’ve never been able to stretch time like that . Also thanks for sharing Vampr never heard of it… definitely want to try it out because my biggest lack as an artist is musical friends and collaborators.

I think one of my biggest flaws is that I can’t slow down so stretching out that walk was a very welcome exercise for me!

Yeah I think Vampr can be great for finding all sorts of music lovers and professionals :)

It’s interesting that you see yourself as an NPC in someone else’s game, while most people see themselves as the main character of their own story. Everyone has a story to tell, but not everyone knows how to tell it well.

You are the main character of your story, right? This blog is your narrative, you’re the star.

I once read a translated Japanese book that framed time and relationships in an interesting way (before social media took over), with billions of people in the world and only 365 days a year, we can realistically stay engaged with 50 to 100 people, with our inner circle being just 10 to 20, and true trust extending to only a handful.

Instead of stretching ourselves thin for those who don’t truly care, it makes more sense to invest in those who do. Time is limited, and not everyone is meant to stay, things change, people change, and we change.

I’m sure you already know this, and sorry to hear about the chaos you’ve had to deal with. I hope you’ll eventually build a team you can truly count on—and when you do, you’ll know.

“Next Powerful Cosmos-calling” I think I’m good at redefining the definition.

Is there any exit your music could serve for those who cannot help but think others are just taking advantage of them?

If you feel you’re being taken advantage of, you can always turn to music. In my case it would be something with a “righteously angry” vibe or something sarcastic. I don’t know, I think “Halo” by Porcupine Tree for some reason.

I also write some songs that confront the feeling of being wronged, but in different contexts. Haven’t really written a song about someone being late yet :)

It must be hard being a responsible half-corporate creature in a world of musicians!

Loved the bit about coffee, so funny. Caught myself having thoughts about a co-worker putting sugar in his coffee the other day but I swear I gave no looks :)

I live for sugar in my morning coffee :D

And yeah, musician world can sometimes be downright infuriating and what’s worse - depressing, because things can just be stuck for months if not years. But then again, I’m sure they see me as overbearing :)

Thanks so much! Being in these circles you kind of try to filter out the people who have this outrageous ego level but you also have to hone your patience with people who generally mean well but are struggling with organisation :)
